Korean Air plans to offer in-flight high-speed Internet access through , a unit of aircraft maker Boeing, the companies announced Monday. The service allows travelers to surf the Web and access e-mail. Installation of equipment and service availability will begin early to mid-2005. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Similar in-flight services also will be available on Lufthansa and several other European and Asian carriers later this year.
