<b>Mac OS 8.1 and Global Village PC card: a confirmation from Global Village

Regarding our report last time about a conflict between Mac OS 8.1 and the Global Village K56 flex PC card on a 3400:

Omar Shahine, who had reported this problem to me earlier, notes that this is not an Open Transport 1.3 problem. It is a more general problem with Mac OS 8.1. He also claims that this problem may not be restricted just to GV's 56K card.

He has now gotten a confirmation from Global Village, who replied: "Eeek, you're right, I'll let you know what we find and when a fix will be available."
