In contrast to the HD-DVD strategy (release a DVD player with no movies available for it), Sony says the first Blu-ray titles have been , to about June 20, to coincide with the actual hardware releases. Of course, new surveys indicate that hardly anyone's actually planning to buy a high-def DVD player anyway, so really, this whole release excitement might be a little bit one-sided.
