Bloomberg and CNET to partner
Bloomberg and CNET: The Computer Network announce a strategic partnership to offer co-branded financial and technology news.
Bloomberg's financial news and market data will be featured on a new CNET NEWS.COM Investor property, as well as on its Snap! Finance service. The NEWS.COM Investor will target technology investors and is scheduled to debut in the first quarter, while Snap! Finance will focus on individual investors and is expected to launch in the second quarter.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, the companies will share advertising revenue generated from the two services.
In a separate agreement, the companies announced that, in the second quarter, NEWS.COM's technology news will be carried on the Bloomberg service, reaching more than 250,000 financial professionals worldwide.
