Blogrunner is the talk of the media blogs this week for its new Annotated New York Times site, which pulls together blogs responding to various Times stories and columns. Among the interesting features of the Annotated Times is its list of most discussed writers. Paul Krugman leads the list with 582 citations. Maureen Dowd, thirteenth on the list, had better sharpen her rhetoric.

Microsoft blogger Robert Scoble isn't all that impressed by the Annotated Times. He prefers memeorandum, which promises "fresh brewed news plus stewing views."

"It's gonna take something really special to get me to give my home page to something else," Scoble gushes about memeorandum. What? Scoble's home page isn't News.com?
