BlackBerry X10 and Z10 are first BlackBerry 10 phones

BlackBerry 10 is just two weeks away -- and it's time for the best look yet at the X10 and Z10, the next generation of BlackBerry phones.
BlackBerry-builder Research in Motion is launching two new phones, the X10 and Z10, to show off the new software. Leaked shots show how BlackBerry 10 works with both keyboard and touchscreen.
The first phone is the X10, pictured above, previously known as the BlackBerry Nevada or N series. The X10 sports a traditional BlackBerry Qwerty keyboard for die-hards who just can't quit the clicky keys. But the X10 ditches the trackpad and soft keys that nestle above the keyboard on previous phones, making more room for what looks like the biggest screen yet to grace a Qwerty BlackBerry.
Posted on fan forum CrackBerry, the photos may not show the finished device -- slightly different models have been issued to developers to get their apps ready for BlackBerry 10 -- but give a clear indication of RIM's desire to match the venerable physical keyboard with the versatility of a decent-sized touchscreen.
Meanwhile Austrian site Telekom-presse claims a review of the Z10, previously known as the BlackBerry London or L series. It's the fully touchscreen-focused phone of the pair, with a 4.2-inch 1,280x768-pixel screen.
Inside is a dual-core 1.5GHz OMAP 4470 processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It takes a microSIM card and a microSD card. The 8-megapixel camera is reported to be pretty decent -- which could be a first for a BlackBerry.
