Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o join 'Black Panther' cast

Fans anxiously awaiting news on Marvel's "Black Panther" at San Diego Comic-Con finally got to see the new logo for the upcoming film. They also heard exciting casting news.

In addition to actor Chadwick Boseman portraying the Black Panther, producer Kevin Feige revealed Saturday that actor Michael B. Jordan will play Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong'o will tackle the role of Nakia, and Danai Gurira will be Okoye in the upcoming film.

In a new featurette video released at Comic-Con, fans also got a behind-the-scenes look at Boseman's Black Panther introduction in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War," which will be available on Digital HD September 2.

"Black Panther" is due to hit theaters in the US and UK on July 6, 2018. No release date has been announced yet for Australia.
