Birds of Prey trailer throws Harley Quinn and company into action
The DC movie teaser is showing with It 2 in theaters this weekend, and sees Margot Robbie's Harley pop the supernatural clown's balloon.
Harley Quinn's so over clowns (sorry Joker). A teaser trailer for DC's Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) appeared online Wednesday, even though it was reportedly only meant to be shown in theaters with It Chapter 2 this weekend. The brief tease even ties directly to the horror movie, with Margot Robbie's Harley popping the supernatural clown's balloon.
From there, we get some fast cuts to the rest of the female superteam in action, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. We also catch sight of Ewan McGregor's Roman Sionis (better known as Black Mask), who looks like he's having a good time.
It's our second look at the movie -- a feverish clip introduced the cast back in January. Birds of Prey comes to theaters Feb. 7, 2020.
