Two of BioWare's most anticipated upcoming projects are coming along well, it seems. BioWare's Alistair McNally, who heads up design and art for the company's studios in Edmonton, Montreal, and Austin, says on Twitter that Mass Effect Andromeda and the company's unannounced new IP are looking "stunning."

"Played Mass Effect Andromeda yesterday and then today our new IP. Both of which are looking stunning. Today I wore a plain T-shirt," McNally said.

That last line about his T-shirt is a reference to something McNally said earlier. He wore a T-shirt at the Game Developers Conference last week that revealed BioWare's new IP -- and no one noticed.

BioWare's new IP, which is in development at the studio's Edmonton office, was officially announced in September 2012. At the time, BioWare said the game was being built from the ground up running on "new gaming technology," a likely reference to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which had not yet been released at the time.

Electronic Arts, which owns BioWare, has not said when it plans to release the new IP. Interestingly, asked recently to talk about what EA has in the pipeline after this holiday, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen mentioned two unannounced games.

"We've got a couple of things up our sleeve that we haven't talked about yet but you'll probably see them teased over the next six months," Jorgensen said.

As for Mass Effect: Andromeda, it was originally scheduled to come out this holiday, but has now reportedly been pushed to 2017. It is the fourth installment in the mainline series, leaving Commander Shepard behind.
