Available both online and in Best Buy's stores, all Fitbit Charge HR activity trackers are on sale, including in black, plum, blue, pink and tangerine and in both large and small sizes. For example, you can save $20 on the large pink version for a final cost of $130, $27 on the large tangerine edition for a final price of $123, or $30 on the small plus model for a final cost of $120.

The sale runs through Saturday.

Fitness bands created by Fitbit, Garmin and others lack the array of features found in smartwatches but offer simplicity and ease of use that have struck a chord with consumers.

Fitbit is still the top player among wearable devices. In the first quarter, sales of Fitbit devices rose to 4.8 million from 3.8 million a year earlier. However, Fitbit's market share slipped from 32.6 percent to 24.5 percent over the same period due to challenges from rivals such as Xiaomi, Apple and Garmin.

The Charge HR fitness tracker features heart rate monitoring, nutrition tracking and automatic activity and sleep tracking. The device offer five days of battery life and is compatible with Apple iPhones, Android phones and Windows phones. The device also works with a variety of third-party apps.
