Bam names new president

Game software publisher Bam Entertainment said Monday that it has hired former Sony and Sega executive Bernard Stolar as president and chief operating officer. San Jose, Calif.-based Bam, which went public late last year, also announced earnings for its second fiscal quarter that ended Dec. 31. Including one-time charges, the company posted a net loss of $3 million, or 41 cents a share. Revenue was $18.9 million, up from $10.7 million in the same period a year ago.
