Autodesk buys transit software maker

Design and drafting software maker Autodesk announced Tuesday it is acquiring Caice Software, a privately held Tampa, Fla.-based developer specializing in surveying and engineering applications for transportation agencies. San Rafael, Calif.-based Autodesk expects the $10 million cash transaction to close in early September.
