Starting Friday, the company's prepaid customers who renew their $40 and $55 monthly plans will get more high-speed data automatically. The $55 tier will get 8 gigabytes of data, while the $40 plan will receive 4GB -- with both plans receiving a 33 percent boost. Customers are only eligible for the increase if they are signed up for AutoPay.
Also, beginning Friday and going until Dec. 31, GoPhone customers can get a free ZTE Maven 2 when activating a new line and paying $30 for the service. During the same time, an LG Phoenix 2 will be $49.99, a price cut of $20.
