Those of you looking for a simple, stripped-down phone could find it with AT&T's GoPhone prepaid service, which picks up the entry-level Asus ZenFone 2E for $120. (Not to be confused with the much more powerful and expensive ZenFone 2 , of course)

Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the handset shows off Asus' colorful custom Zen UI skin on the ZenFone 2E's 5-inch, 720p HD resolution screen.

Asus claims that its 8-megapixel camera captures photos with zero shutter lag. The handset also boasts an f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor on the front.

Powering the show, you'll find a dual-core Intel Atom processor with 8GB of internal storage and microSD card support up to 64GB. The 1GB of RAM is exactly where it should be with this kind of phone. Bluetooth 4.0 LTE support for 4G LTE is also onboard.

You can buy the black or white Asus ZenFone 2E at Walmart and Target stores immediately, or through AT&T retail stores on July 24 and Best Buy on August 2.
