Argus unveils midrange camera

Argus Camera, an American company primarily known for making disposable cameras and other entry-level products, announced Monday the release of one of its first midrange digital cameras. The DC-3550 captures images at resolutions up to 2.1 megapixels, has a 3x zoom lens, 8MB of internal memory and support for removable storage using the Compact Flash format. The camera is expected to go on sale for $250 next month.
