Apple: Two days, 1 million podcasts

Apple's new iTunes is hitting the ground running. The company said Thursday that people have already subscribed to more than 1 million podcasts through the new version of its iTunes software, released just two days ago.

In a speech to developers early this month, Steve Jobs called podcasting "the hottest thing going in radio." At this rate, it could indeed give that old FM dial a run for its money.
