Apple sets August date for developer conference

Worldwide Developer Conference will take place Aug. 7-11 in San Francisco.

CEO Steve Jobs noted last week that Apple has now moved more than half its product line to Intel-based Macs. Apple used last year's gathering to announce the move to Intel processors.
