Apple seeds 10.6.3 to developers; Crash and bug fixes

The forthcoming update to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, 10.6.3, will incorporate over 90 components including several bug fixes and solutions for crashes.

The forthcoming update to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, 10.6.3, will incorporate over 90 components including several bug fixes and solutions for crashes. The update will focus primarily on stability and maintenance with special attention, as AppleInsider reports, to "AppKit, CoreMedia, Desktop Services, FileSync, Fonts, HIToolbox, iCal, Mail, MobileMe, and QuickTime Player X."

Also included in the AppleInsider report, components that affect crashes when printing, enhancements to Snow Leopard's automatic spell correction, as well as improvements to Photo Booth, Rosetta, Spotlight, Screen Sharing, and Software Update.

The update is expected to address several other issues, including ones covered by MacFixIt. As the update goes through revisions and more information comes to light about the direction of 10.6.3, now in build 10D522, we will be sure to keep our readers informed.
