Apple has released a couple of updates for its Logic Express and Logic Pro music composition and editing tools. The updates specifically address problems with instrument and effect plug-ins not behaving correctly because of sync errors and the window's green zoom button not working as expected. Compatibility with Apogee's Duet 2 audio interface is also improved.

The update should be available via Software Update for those who have the software installed and are running OS X 10.5.8 or later, but can also be downloaded from the following locations:

Logic Express 9.1.5 (138.84MB)

Logic Pro 9.1.5 (192.55MB)

As always with installing updates, be sure to fully back up your system before applying the update. We recommend you create either a Time Machine backup or a system clone (or both) so you can quickly restore your previous system state in the event of a problem.
