Black Friday is Mac Friday -- Apple is planning to slash iPad, iPod and Mac prices at the end of this week.
Apple will cut prices on Black Friday, a day of pre-Christmas discounts made popular by sale-crazed US bargain-hunters. Will you bag a cheap iPad or discounted Mac?
Don't hold your breath -- the actual discounts are kept secret until on the day, but last year's deals. Still, if you're planning an Apple purchase anyway it's probably worth a look.
included up to £80 off a Mac computer or £35 off an iPad. Other deals included a tenner or so off assorted iPod models. The iPhone remained resolutely full-priced, but various accessories were offered for cheapsies.
The ad on Apple's website, pictured above, hints at what's in the sale with pictures of different bits of Apple kit, including keyboards, mouses, iMacs and what appears to be an Apple TV. The iPhone isn't mentioned or pictured, sadly.
