Apple loses developer relations VP

Clent Richardson, Apple Computer's VP of developer relations, is leaving the computer maker to become chief operating officer at One 2 One, an England-based wireless company. No immediate replacement has been named. Richardson, who has been heading Apple's efforts to convince developers to write software for the just-released Mac OS X, said in a statement Friday that all is well despite his exit. "Apple and the worldwide developer relations team are stronger then ever, and I have no doubt that literally thousands of Mac OS X apps will be commercially released by our developers this year," he said.
