Apple apologizes for missing adaptors

Apple Computer is alerting recent PowerBook purchasers that their computers may not have come with a video adaptor that enables the laptop to connect to the composite connector on a television, VCR, or video projector. Apple normally includes such an adaptor in its accessory kit, and the company is offering to send one free to those who didn't get the adaptor with their PowerBook. Those interested are directed to this Web site. "We apologize for the oversight and would like to send an S-video composite adapter, free of charge, to anyone who didn't receive one," Apple said in its bi-weekly e-mail newsletter.
