App tells when to go pee during movies and not miss much

It's best not to watch that freaky, edge-of-your-seat slasher flick with a full bladder. But pee happens -- and sometimes it's hard to anticipate nature's call before settling in at the multiplex. Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to miss a key scene (or screw it up for your aisle-mates) when you darted to the bathroom?

Fear not, cinephiles -- there's an app for that.

It's called RunPee, and fortunately it has nothing to do with marking your trail to find your way home from your morning jog.

What the app for Android and iOS does is let you know the best times during a film to take care of what you've been putting off since about 10 minutes after you sat down. It identifies the best windows to run to the restroom without missing any double-crosses, gratuitous lovemaking, or other important moments. RunPee will even vibrate in your pocket to let you know when one of the relief windows is about to start, and fills you in on what you've missed when you're done.

Another cool bonus feature that movie nerds are sure to appreciate is information on any outtakes that got tossed in as part of the ending credits.

That's a whole lot of awesome, but I do have one suggestion for another feature I'd like to see: an emergency alert for upcoming waterfall scenes would sure help prevent accidents, especially when attending the latest "Ice Age" flick with a 4-year-old.
