Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

Remember Read It Later, the app designed to save online stories for later, offline reading? It's had a major overhaul and has been rebranded into a bargain. Now known as Pocket, the app has lost its AU$2.99 price tag, making it completely free — and it's a lot nicer to use. The entire interface has been simplified and redesigned. It's faster, includes features such as an automatic content filter, which separates videos, articles and images, and a new organisation strategy that allows you to Favourite, Tag, Archive, Delete and Bulk Edit your articles. It's going to give Instapaper a run for its money, that's for sure.
