America Online's (AOL) Greenhouse has "terminated" a dozen of its 70 employees during a reorganization.

"We reorganized the company on Wednesday," Greenhouse spokeswoman Pam McGraw said today.

The company may rehire people who "match the skill sets" of the newly reorganized Greenhouse, she added.

The Greenhouse began as an area that developed small and large projects but now it is geared to develop large consumer brands, such as "the entertainment brand, the romance brand, and the sports brand [for] the Internet and other platforms," McGraw said.

"What we're looking for are people who are able to execute on this brand strategy...We don't expect an additional reorganization."
