AOL names entertainment head

AOL Time Warner's America Online unit named former BMG Entertainment executive Bill Wilson to run its entertainment division. Wilson, who previously served as vice president of marketing for AOL Music, succeeds former head Kevin Conroy, now the chief operating officer of AOL's broadband operations.

Wilson will report to Jim Bankoff, executive vice president of AOL brand operations. AOL Music's executive director, Evan Harrison, will assume Wilson's former role as general manager and report to Wilson.
