Under the three-year, multi-million dollar agreement, the companies said today they will develop co-branded sites that will be accessible on AOL, CompuServe and Netscape's Netcenter. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The sites will feature Webcasts of live and recorded conference calls, live chats with company executives, analysts and money managers, and access to earnings estimates.
Over the past several years, a growing number of companies have opened access to their conference calls via the Web. Some of the participants include Cyberian Outpost, IBM, Motorola and Yahoo.
AOL, which last year began Webcasts for its own live earnings conference calls after previously barring the media from listening in, will also lend its marketing support to CCBN to help them develop advertising and e-commerce opportunities.
