Disney Online today confirmed that Susan Wyland, vice president of its online property Family.com, has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Wyland's departure from Disney Online's executive ranks marks the third high-level departure from the entertainment giant's online efforts in three months. In July, Richard Wolpert resigned as president of Disney Online to spin off a consumer-oriented Internet retail company with Ron Burkle, chairman of Yucaipa Companies.

In June, David Vogler, who served as vice president of Disney Online, split from the company to oversee creative development for Nickelodeon's online sites.

"Susan Wyland has been with Disney Online since the beginning and has helped Disney's Family.com to become the premier online parenting resource," said Jake Winebaum, president of Disney Online and Buena Vista Internet Group, in a prepared statement. "Susan's leadership and vision has been of great value to me and to this company and we wish her well in her future endeavors."
