Now that all the juicy details of Android 2.2 "Froyo" are out, the question for current Android phone owners inevitably turns to "When do I get it?" Well, there is good news for some, bad news for others, and no news for the rest.

Starting with the good, Google announced via its Google I/O Twitter account that Froyo will be served to Nexus One users in the next few weeks. Not terribly surprising that the N1 would be one of the first to get the update considering its direct ties to Google (though that experiment went horribly wrong).

HTC has also come out to say that most of its 2010 Android models will be eligible for an upgrade. Responding to an inquiry from Android Central, a company spokesperson said that some of the supported devices will include the HTC Droid Incredible, HTC Desire, HTC Evo 4G, and T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide.

HTC added that it will release a full list of phones and availability dates closer to launch but that it hopes to have all updates released by the second half of the year. According to Gizmodo, the T-Mobile G1 will definitely not be getting Froyo due to the limited Flash memory.

We have yet to hear anything official from Motorola and Samsung, but we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear anything. In the meantime, be sure to check out Jessica Dolcourt's hands-on look at Android 2.2 and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta on Android.
