Analogue Nt breathes gorgeous new life into the NES

Gaming company Analogue Interactive has brought an entirely re-engineered NES/Famicom system to life in a stunning precision-crafted body.

There's something about the games of your childhood. They're always going to be the games that most feel like home; the ones you turn to for comfort. If those games are an NES library, though, it's entirely possible you just don't have a viable way to play them any more.

Analogue Interactive is a company that is looking to change all that, with its range of gorgeous, rebuilt wood-cased Neo Geo MVS systems, the CMVS Slim. Today, the company has announced a new addition to its lineup: the Analogue Nt.

Inside the stunning case — precision machined out of a single block aircraft-grade aluminium — beats the heart of the Nintendo Entertainment System, fully re-engineered by the team based on the original hardware (unlike other NES clones on the market, which are often unreliable). It plays both NES and Famicom games, allows connection of four controllers, and — maybe best of all — is perfectly compatible with modern TVs, as well as CRTs and computer monitors, delivering the best audio-visual experience possible.
