To create the perfect gun experience, you need to make the shooting enjoyable.
How ingenious, then, for a group of engineers to build a water pistol that looks like something out of Ghostbusters. Or a war movie.
Here we have a water pistol that's a little bigger than your average water pistol. That's because it's more like a machine gun.
"Water pistols are awesome," declares one of the creators in a YouTube video. "But what if they were even more aweseomer-er-er?"
No, I didn't write the script.
Given that summer has come, Sugru's engineers were "dreaming about water pistols." So with the help of a CO2 welding canister and their own water-resistant hand-formed rubber, they thought they'd test the limits of their imaginations.
Their inspiration was the Gatling gun, very popular among the Union army during the American Civil War. Sugru's gun enjoys six barrels and has a range of around 40 feet. So it's perfect if you sit at the back of the classroom.
It shoots all sorts of sublime colors at the guilty or merely unsuspecting.
Sadly, though, there are no plans to mass produce what would be an essential summer-gadget buy. I feel sure so many parents are extremely sad about that.
