AMD unveils line of graphics chips
ATI Radeon HD 3800 processors are meant for use in PCs with as many as four accelerator cards, company says.
Advanced Micro Devices, the second-largest maker of computer processors, announced on Thursday a new line of graphics chips meant for use within personal computers with up to four accelerator cards.
The company said the ATI Radeon HD 3800 will initially support two graphics cards, which come in a model priced at $179, and one that costs $219.
