Amazon.com Chief Executive Jeff Bezos has registered to sell 2.95 million shares of the company, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Corporate executives regularly sell shares of stock in their companies, but this amount is large compared with what Bezos has sold in the past: In January, he registered to sell 800,000 shares. As of Dec. 31, he owned more than 114 million Amazon shares, a stake worth about 30 percent of the Seattle company. An Amazon representative could not immediately be reached for comment.
