Available on Boost Mobile and Virgin for $70 without a contract, the Alcatel Dawn is the newest addition to the prepaid carriers' lineup of affordable Android handsets.

The phone features a 4.5-inch display and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. It's powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor and a 1,780mAh battery. As for storage, it has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The Alcatel Dawn also has hotspot capabilities so you can tether its 4G LTE internet on other devices.

Though it's not the most powerful phone out there, an Android 6.0 Marshmallow device for $70 is a decent deal. We''ll know more about the device once we get a unit in for review, of course, but until then it may be a good contender for those who are on a tight budget and in the market for a phone.
