Adobe settles in piracy case

Software maker Adobe Systems has announced five legal settlements and two default judgments, stemming from a lawsuit alleging piracy that was filed last year against individuals exhibiting at a computer swap meet in Pomona, Calif. The five settlements total about $140,000. The computer swap-meet promotion company, National Productions, is still a defendant in the case.
