Software maker Adobe Systems announced on Monday the release of new products: After Effects 5.0, Streaming Media Collection, and Digital Video Collection. New features inside After Effects 5.0, a special effects software, include 3D compositing. It sells for $649 to $1,499. The $999 Streaming Media Collection adds interactive animation and streaming audio and video content. It comprises several Adobe products including Premiere, After Effects, LiveMotion and GoLive. The $1,199 Digital Video Collection offers tools capable of producing professional quality video presentations for film, video and the Web. Formerly known as the Adobe Dynamic Media Collection, it comprises Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. By purchasing the software products as collections, Adobe said, customers can save more than $1,000.
