Actelis snags $26 million third round

Actelis Networks said Wednesday it received a $26 million third round of funding, bringing its total funding to nearly $58 million. The Fremont, Calif.-based company, which focuses on boosting the performance of copper wire telephone lines to be comparable with fiber optics, had a number of its previous investors participate in its latest round. Carlyle Venture Partners led the round, with previous investors New Enterprise Associates, U.S. Venture Partners, Walden International, Global Catalyst Partners and Vertex Management contributing.
