Accenture taps new CFO

Management consultancy Accenture, which recently set a price range for its initial public offering, named Harry You to be its new chief financial officer. You, 42, previously served as a managing director for investment firm Morgan Stanley, where he primarily guided service providers through their public offerings. You replaces Mike McGrath, who has spent about 28 years at Accenture and has been CFO since 1997. McGrath will serve as the company's treasurer, while You helps Accenture through its planned IPO. You will begin handling CFO duties once the company becomes public. Earlier this month, Accenture announced plans to offer 115 million shares at an estimated IPO price of between $13 and $15 per share. Like a number of its rivals, Accenture recently endured job cuts, which affected 1,400 positions. Some of those positions were cut through a voluntary sabbatical program.
