A.I. can make music and read your Facebook posts
Facebook and Google introduced two new artificial intelligence technologies that are making machines really smart.
Two tech giants created tech that could change everything. Google's Project Magenta was used to create a song. A neural network used a four-note sample to create a 90-second tune. Is it any good? The song won't light the world afire, but it's pretty good for a first try.
Facebook's new DeepText technology might not make music, but it can read your Facebook post and actually understand what it means. You might not need to ever leave Facebook to handle all kinds of tasks if DeepText works as well as Facebook claims.
