40 years of phones, Galaxy S4 and Nokia 3210 in Podcast 333

It's the mobile phone's 40th birthday, so we're lauding classic blowers from the mighty Nokia 3210 to the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Hello! What? No -- I'm on the phone! It's been 40 years since the mobile phone first invaded our public spaces, turning us all into either shouty irritants or oblivious head-down wanderers. And if that's not worth celebrating, we don't know what is.

We asked you which is better: the near-indestructible, infinitely battery-powered, Snake-charming Nokia 3210, or the super-powered, app-blasting, Web-connected Nokia Lumia 920?

It seems we're all waxing nostalgic about our older phones, as if vast processing power, a smorgasbord of apps to choose from and the infinite power of the Internet in our pockets is something we could take or leave.

And we throw the floor open for your feedback -- but all you want to talk about is the S4. Why is the Samsung Galaxy S4 different in different countries? When will we find out how much it costs? And can the next iPhone surprise us?

Whether your gadgets are playing up and you need some advice, or you've got an opinion to share about the technology issues of the day, leave us a comment below or have your say on our Facebook page -- it's full of folks who love gadgets as much as you do, plus you'll get oodles of behind-the-scenes glimpses at life at CNET Towers.
