If you've ever tried visiting iPhone Atlas on your iPhone, you've no doubt noticed that Safari automatically gets redirected to, the mobile version of the blog.

That's not a bad thing--the mobile version makes it much easier to browse and view the latest posts. Or it would, if it wasn't broken.

See, when you tap any post title, you land on a page that contains only a summary of that post, not the full article. It's a bug--a pretty major one, obviously--and I apologize for it.

Make no mistake: We're keenly aware of the irony of an iPhone blog that doesn't work properly on iPhones. While it would seem like an easy fix, I'm told the CNET engineers are working on it as part of total mobile-CNET overhaul.

In the meantime, there's an easy way to view the full, nonmobile version of iPhone Atlas in Safari. Just use this URL:

At some point in the near future, the site will give you a one-tap choice between full and mobile versions. Until then, bookmark the aforementioned URL and enjoy iPhone Atlas in all its glory. And thanks for your patience while the repair crews do their thing.
