Use the heart rate sensor to reject calls on Galaxy S6 Edge, S6 Edge+
Here's a discreet way to reject calls without looking at your phone screen or hardware buttons.
If you're the owner of a Galaxy S6 Edge or S6 Edge+, you can use the heart rate sensor to reject incoming calls. This feature is useful because you won't have to fumble with a case to press the volume button, or turn the screen on to use the software rejection options. Instead, you can place your finger over the sensor and discreetly reject calls while driving, in a movie theater, or sitting in a meeting. Here's how to set it up:
Step 1: Head to the Settings menu > Edge screen > Edge lighting. If Edge lighting is off, enable it.
Step 2: Next, go to Quick reply, which also needs to be toggled on if it isn't already.
Tip: You may want to adjust the message to something more personal, since it will send that box of text to your rejected caller.
Step 3: When a call comes in that you don't want to take, reject it by placing your finger over the heart rate sensor. A red light will appear under your fingertip to confirm the action, even though you probably won't see it.
