There are quite a few options for saving the content you read on the Web. The issue with many of them is that they can become overcomplicated in their attempts to help you. Glossed.it is a Web tool that will let you save just the sentences that really strike you as interesting.

To use the service, you will need to sign up on the Web site: Glossed.it. Once you're signed in, just drag the provided bookmarklet to your browser's toolbar.

Now head off to read some of your favorite stuff online. See an interesting sentence you want to save? Just click the bookmarklet and then click the sentence you want to save. The highlighting tool is pretty accurate, as long as you don't have any crazy punctuation.

Once you've saved up a few things, you can review them on the Glossed.it Web site. Your clips will be displayed with a bit of context around them, and organized by month. There's even a link to the original content, and a delete link if you added something by mistake.

This Web tool is an ultrafast way to collect small pieces of information for research, studying, or just personal use. What do you think? Simple, yet has enough features to make you prefer it to something else? Or tell us about your favorite tool for saving things on the Web.
