One of the funnest parts of using a new operating system, such as BlackBerry 10, is discovering features. The more I have used BlackBerry 10, the more I "accidentally" stumble upon new gestures or features.

The latest accident occurred when I was trying to view a photo I had just taken by tapping on the Pictures thumbnail in the Camera app. Instead of tapping on the thumbnail, I swiped up with my finger still on the thumbnail and the photo expanded. Once I let go, the photo collapsed back into the thumbnail, all without loading my entire photo library.

So to recap, if you're in the Camera app and want to take a peek at the photo you just took, simply put your finger on the thumbnail and slide up. The photo will expand, and then collapse when you lift your finger.

This quick gesture allows you to efficiently preview the newest photo in your library and make any adjustments to the shot without taking up too much of your time.
