10 ridiculously cute Google Hangout Easter eggs
Use these tricks to liven up your Hangout chats.
Adding flare to your Google Hangouts conversations is right at your fingertips. Google has hidden some super-adorable Easter eggs you can unlock to reveal some lol-worthy emojis and animations.
1. Typing /shruggie sends this little guy to your friend ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
2. Sending /facepalm sends (－‸ლ).
3. Every time you type /bikeshed the background color of your chat window changes colors.
4. Press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and Enter keys on your keyboard and the background changes into a mountain scene. This is called Konami Code and it works with many different online sites and services to trigger Easter eggs.
5. Typing /ponies makes a My Little Pony run across the screen.

6. Sending /ponystream brings a galloping herd of My Little Ponies to your chat window. Type /ponystream again to turn it off.
