Digi Home's special Sunday deals: September 23, 2007
With another week in the books, technology journalist Don Reisinger brings you more great deals from the Sunday ads.
As we enter the final week of September, there are a slew of nicely-priced tech toys at your local stores. Historically speaking, this is always a good time to find some deals and if you're in the mood for a new HDTV or Digital Camera, now is as good a time as any. So keep reading and look for some of the best deals this week. And as always, if you find another that I may have missed, please let us know and include it in the comments.
Sears: Your friends over at Sears are happy to give you a $50 instant rebate on the Panasonic HDR-H18. Instead of payin $500 for this standard-def cam, you can now have it for $450. Not a bad deal if you're looking to capture some important moments.
OfficeMax:This nice deal is on the front page of this week's ad and it should be. An OfficeMax exclusive, this deal offers an HP Pavilion dv64230, a Photosmart C4280 all-in-one printer and a notebook backpack for just $849.99. And with an AMD X2 in the notebook, this deal sounds better every minute.
Best Buy:The Philips 42PFL5332D is on sale for $1299.99 and it sports a 720p display and two HDMI inputs. Now, I typically tell folks to go for at least 3 HDMI inputs, but if you're looking to find a nice HDTV without spending too much money to have one, this is a pretty good deal.
Circuit City:With a $400 instant savings, you can now get your hands on a Denon/Boston Acoustics 5.1-channel surround sound system that sports an HDMI multi-channel DVD player and XM radio support. It was originally priced at $999.99 -- it can be yours for just $599.99.
There you have it -- another week is in the books. If you'd like to add some deals that I missed or share some better ideas, throw them in the comments. See you next week!
