All the new Alexa products from CES 2019
We're keeping a running list of new, Alexa-compatible product announcements from Las Vegas.
Our coverage of the technology extravaganza known as CES 2019 is underway. As ever, the show is packed with smart home and consumer electronics news.
A slew of brand-new products will join the growing ranks of Alexa-compatible hardware this year. They include home theater sound bars , kitchen countertop multicookers, TVs, smart glasses and much more.

New things that work with Alexa
Here's the current list of newfangled CES products that vendors promise will play nice with Alexa, in alphabetical order.
Asus Lyra Voice
Meet the $220 Asus Lyra Voice. It's a compelling combination of wireless smart speaker and mesh network router. The Lyra is also fully compatible with Alexa, thanks to an onboard microphone.

C by GE smart lighting
GE's current line of smart lighting will soon enjoy Alexa support. Called C by GE, the lineup contains LED bulbs, light switches and dimmers, plus smart plugs and sensors. The C line will also tightly integrate with Google Assistant . Support for Apple HomeKit will arrive later this year as well.

Caseta by Lutron Fan Speed Control
Want to transform your ordinary home ceiling fans into ones with smarts? The Lutron Caseta Fan Speed Control does just that. It also works with Google Assistant, Alexa and the IFTTT platform.

Currant Smart Wall Outlet
This smart electrical outlet monitors the power usage of devices connected to it. It then analyzes that data to suggest which appliances you should shut down to save juice. You can control the outlet with Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as through the Currant mobile app.

First Alert Onelink Bell
First Alert is known for its smoke alarms, but the company now has a new smart doorbell. Called the Onelink Bell, this connected buzzer works with First Alert's other networked home safety gear. One example is the Onelink Safe and Sound smoke and carbon monoxide detector. The Onelink Bell will also support Google Assistant as well as Alexa.

Gourmia 11-in-1 Deluxe Multicooker
Appliance maker Gourmia unveiled a new, Alexa-compliant kitchen appliance. The $150 11-in-1 Deluxe Multicooker works with Alexa voice commands. It will also acknowledge voice instructions through Google Assistant and Gourmia's Mia mobile app.

Kohler smart bathroom
If money is no object, but stylish, connected bathroom fixtures are, check out Kohler's smart bathroom collection. The line includes an intelligent toilet, a free-standing bath, a lighted mirror and a lighted three-piece vanity. They sport accent lights you can control through Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. There's a Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror too, which comes in either Google Assistant or Alexa models.

Klipsch Bar 48W sound bar
Home theater setups are often cramped, without much room or extra space. The 48-inch Klipsch Bar 48W helps by packing in the sound of multiple speakers in one. It also integrates support for Alexa, so you won't need to shoehorn in an additional smart speaker. If you'd prefer to control the device with Google Assistant, or Apple AirPlay, the Bar 48W works with those options too.

Ring Door View Cam
Instead of mounting a doorbell camera outside, there's another option. The new Ring Door View Cam sits on the inside of your door, and peers out of its peephole. This security device is certainly more compelling for apartment dwellers. Their entryways tend to have peepholes; suburban houses not so much. The Door View gets power from a rechargeable battery too, so no hard wiring required. And as an Amazon company, the Door View Cam is fully compatible with Alexa.

Vuzix Blade
The $999 Vuzix Blade headset is the first pair of Alexa-compatible smart glasses. The headset takes video and photos, and plays audio through integrated headphones. It can also display images, video, apps and messages right on the lenses.
