Every now and then your blow dryer needs a little maintenance. Hair and lint can build up over the grate on the back of the dryer and block air flow. A clogged dryer can overheat and have a shorter lifespan.
Many things, like a tissue or a cotton swab, can leave lint behind while cleaning the grate -- and paper towels just don't grab the lint. In fact, the best tool you can use to wipe out the grate is a clean makeup sponge. Simply place the sponge on the grate and wipe in a circular motion and the lint and hair will come right off.
