Sprint to offer three new tri-band hot spots on July 19
The Netgear Zing, Netgear 341U, and Novatel Wireless MiFi 500LTE will all be available from Sprint starting July 19.
Sprint announced today that three of its newest hot spots will be available beginning July 19. The tri-band devices (800MHz, 1.9GHz, and 2.5GHz) are the Netgear Zing, the Netgear 341U, and the Novatel Wireless MiFi 500LTE.
The Netgear Zing enables up to 10 users to connect to Sprint's 3G and 4G networks and will sell for $49.99 after users send in a mail-in rebate.
When we first caught wind of these devices during CTIA 2012, the carrier reported that the Zing was its first hot spot to have a touch-screen display.
Locating local internet providers
The Netgear 341U is a $19.99 (after mail-in rebate) modem that offers laptops access to Sprint's network via a USB port.
Lastly, the Novatel Wireless MiFi 500LTE costs $49.99 after mail-in rebate, and provides users with 4G LTE access.

While it does not have a touch screen, it does feature a Web interface that includes information on battery life and number of connect devices. It has a reported use-time of up to 10 hours and like the Zing, can connect up to 10 devices.
All hot spots require a two-year carrier agreement.
