Cellular carrier Sprint is working with service provider Truckstop.net to make Wi-Fi network access available to truckers nationwide. The two companies announced a deal Thursday to bring broadband Internet access via Wi-Fi networks to up to 3,000 truck stops over the term of the agreement. The multimillion-dollar deal includes network services and hardware purchases. Truckstop will make the service available in about 300 new locations per quarter.
